A ruthless band of smugglers will stop at nothing to strip Cambodia of its priceless ancient artifacts, even if it means using and killing female
tourists.  Journalist Claire Linton knows she's on to the story of a lifetime.  But for Claire, it's personal too:  long before her "Uncle Jack" came to
the U.S., he was held captive in the nightmarish killing fields of Cambodia, and Claire senses there might be a connection between that long-ago
bloody history and the dark crimes that plague the country today.

Simon Trent is a burnt-out Interpol agent who disappeared after his last case turned fatal.  But with the resurgence in smuggling and all
signs pointing to the man who once escaped his grasp, he comes out of hiding to finish the job that's haunted him for years.  What he doesn't
see coming is Claire, the beautiful and headstrong reporter who may be a threat to his case - and to his heart.

As Claire and Simon reluctantly join forces to unravel a mystery that reaches deep into her family history and may be his only chance at
redemption, they must fight to stay one step ahead of a brutal killer - and one step away from the dangerous feelings building between them.

Reviews:

This is the first book I've read by this author and I wasn't so sure what to expect, I loved it!  It had everything I want in a book romance and drama you just didn't know what was going to happen next.  I will certainly read this book again.  (I just went and bought Fatal Intent by this author).

Wow

In the heart of the jungle lies more than just the hint of death...

Leading a scientific excursion into the Borneo rain forest is a life long dream for entomologist, Garrett Cole.  But when her guide turns up dead and headless, her abilities are tested.   As the dense foliage pushes her team further from the river, they are lost.  Every shimmer of sound is a threat, and when a blonde-haired, half-naked giant emerges from nowhere, she wants to run.  But there are no options - she needs help.

Raised in the lush cradle of the Borneo jungle, Aidan is as unconventional as the fact that he has no last name.  While the city is home, he returns to the jungle for peace and solitude.  As a PI, how can he ignore the mystery this group and their dead guide poses?  Leading them in a convoluted trek in a bid for answers, he soon finds himself in a clash of wills with their alluring leader and answers that slide dangerously close to the tribe he loves.

In the jungle's torrid heat they find an unexpected solace in each others arms.  But faced with death and betrayal, in a battle of wits that puts lives on edge, can anyone be trusted?

Reviews:

"...Ryshia’s writing keeps you hooked from beginning to end, constantly adding in unexpected twists and slowly revealing parts of the story. Ryshia creates characters that you can connect to and grow to love and puts them into a story like no other.  An original story line, believable characters and a great writing style, what more could you ask for? This book is a must read..."  Katie L. Thompson

"...Garrett and her team of entomologists lose their way within the silent depth of the Borneo Rain Forest, without the least understanding of what awaited them there.  With their guide dead in a peculiar way, they are forced to seek the assistance of Aidan, a stranger, a 'Tarzan' type of a man, a bohemian but irresistibly handsome.  How long would Garrett be able to resist her growing attraction towards him?  Will they be able to solve the mystery regarding the death of the guide, whose headless corpse was found floating on the river?  The super-dynamic plot of the novel forces the reader to untangle these knots by rapidly turning the pages till the very end....Fast-paced and highly dramatic plot...

"RING OF DESIRE is a dark, dangerous fantasy with the ultimate goal of fulfilling destiny and saving the world. RING OF DESIRE is also
all one could ever hope to find in a romantic tale, with evocative passages of love, the emotion, as well as more physical attraction..."  Long & Short Reviews

"...Great plot, great writing, great love between the hero and heroine. Action filled pages that keep the heart pounding sometimes with fear for the characters when evil stalks their shadows and sometimes with excitement as love develops.
Not being an avid romance reader did not stop this story from grabbing my attention with the first few paragraphs, and I'm still caught. I love all the action starting at the beginning, the mysteries, the magic, the sense of danger that the villain brings with him. Ryshia Kennie has done a superb job keeping my attention from beginning to end. When life forced me to stop reading, I couldn't stop thinking about the story until I had the opportunity to return to reading it. Read the book. You'll be happy if you do."  Alternative Reads

"...FROM THE DUST is a solid romance that also has a good deal to offer to those who don’t normally read romances."
Dan W. Hays, Book Reviewer, The Statesman Journal

Love can be so... unexpected.

In the spring of 1935, understated beauty Eva Edwards is widowed. A blessing to be sure. Having long since left England, a rare talent for music and notions of love behind, her one focus is keeping her farm and raising a child not her own—no matter the sacrifice and struggle.

Born of wealth, veterinarian Tate Prescott Brown has come to the dust of Saskatchewan’s rural Qu’Appelle District to find independence and take possession of his farm—Eva’s farm. Now, in an effort to solve a legal misunderstanding, Tate faces a sacrifice and struggle of his own: to do what he thinks is right by Eva ... or what’s right for his heart.
